This project was both fun and challenging. The large tract of land was zoned for multi-family housing, but there was a 19th century stone house in the middle of the property. While many developers might have bulldozed it for additional units, Partners Development saw greater potential in blending the two elements. So they creatively and efficiently melded the glade-like environment of the land and the historic features of the old home into an apartment community that has received both historic preservation and beautification awards. More than a decade old, it continues to receive accolades from residents and community leaders alike.
