With meeting and presentation facilities that feature the simultaneous transmission of voice and data in more than thirty languages, this international corporate conference center was created on a handshake between the two CEOs of Whirlpool and Partners; several months later (with the building almost 40% complete), a formal agreement was finally signed.
Located near Covert, Michigan, Whirlpool uses this center as a training facility for its national and international employees. It was technologically ahead of its time at the date of occupancy in 1993 and remains an innovative example of the "global community access point" so prevalent in more recently developed corporate conference centers.
